We are the proud awaiting parents of Jiang Ai Ai born November 9, 2006. She is waiting for us at the Dianjiang Social Welfare Institute in Chongqing China.

This journey began three years ago with a lot of prayer and paperwork. At times it seemed like it was an exercise in futility. But patience has paid off and we're up to our eyeballs in more paperwork...this time to get ready to travel!

Our daughter has a room that awaits paint and a crib. She has a big brother who was so excited that he took her referral photos to school and showed everyone except fourth grade. That's a lot of folks! She has half a closet full of clothes and a father who is already worried about the amount of pink entering this house. She has a mom who hopes that she will settle into our family quickly and be happy.
